He is obsessed with intelligent design, and creating spaces that enhance the original both functionally and aesthetically. He studies the proposed build and plans all the technical components, but in such a way that they operate in the background, silently enriching the human experience of the space.

As OakenStone’s lead designer and value engineer, Dave meets with new clients, makes initial assessments of each project and advises on design options. Dave really understands buildings and thinks very creatively so can offer solutions you may not have even considered. Early discussion with Dave can change how you think about space, help you identify your priorities and see new possibilities for your dream home. With such an imaginative approach he can often save you money too! With over 25 years’ experience of managing and delivering major build projects, Dave also has an excellent understanding of the legal and technical challenges projects may face. His expertise and oversight ensure smooth progress throughout the design and build phases.
