Another special moment when building a new house – the installation of the first window, especially when it is one of this quality. Designed and manufactured in the UK these stunning Pure View sliding doors were gently lifted into position today – a perfect fit and on schedule. Soon to be followed by the shipment of the remaining doors and windows that have suffered a somewhat more turbulent journey from Denmark. But despite Brexit, Covid (and now Suez!) we believe they have fought their way through customs, clogged up ports and lorries queues and are ready to land alongside their British partner. All to be perfectly complimented by a combination of Siberian larch cladding and local Derbyshire gritstone. A European partnership the OakenStone way.
