Time seems to have stood still at the end of this long lane in a secret location in the Derbyshire Dales where OakenStone are working with an excited client to rescue this magical Grade II listed house and barn.

OakenStone Design Planning Build are working together with a team of heritage specialists to guide the restoration of this beautiful property with the complex intent of retaining its precious, historical character whilst at the same time treating it to modern amenities which will include under floor heating fed by a ground source heat pump and improved insulation as part of a complete renovation.

Phase 1 sees the burnt out barn brought into service as living accommodation for the client whilst we work together on Phase 2 – the even more delicate main house.
